Ok... soooo someone has completely and absolutely surprised you with their stupidity. Their ability to get under your skin with their lack of brain power and selfishness is beyond words..... you are in a state of WOWDOM.....yes wowdom, a new word that I need to coin. All you can say is WOW....

So you DO you rise above it? Well every girl at some point has indulged in the drama... and some of us learn the hard way.....ALWAYS stay out of the drama it only creates more!

So YES, Please YES, rise above...you are better off leaving them to their moronic ways.

Stop Taking And Start Giving

We have written blog posts about friendship and making it a two-way street.  If a friendship is going to grow and foster, both parties have to be willing to give and take, but why is it so difficult for people to understand this?   We are all human and can easily get caught into this selfish trap, we need to stop thinking only of ourselves, it is time to think of others!

Good Friends Know How to Be There When Needed and When to Take a Step Back and Give Space

Now, there are some extremely generous people in the world, and they may offer to help, but don't take advantage of their generosity.  Return the favor once in awhile!  Stop taking and start giving.  There will come a point that a friendship might be lost over this selfishness!  So maybe it's time to take a step back and rethink your actions.

Great Friendships are like Ice Cream: sweet and smooth!

So, here's the lesson...be a good friend!  Be the type of friend you want to have.  If all people behaved with a selfless charity, there wouldn't be the typical overly caddy, back-biting, drama filled relationships that seem to dominate our world!  So, instead of always taking, start returning the favor.  You will be amazed by the results!

The Ladies at Provocative Manners would like to wish you all a wonderful and blessed Easter! 

Who doesn't enjoy Easter without a little anticipated family drama?  Did we say enjoy?  We meant abhor!

Stay clear of family issues.  Avoid them like the plague.  This ruins a wonderful Holiday!  Don't start the drama.  It isn't the time or place to discuss financial debt or begin an intervention for your Uncle Peter's addictions.  Keep it calm, simple and enjoyable for the entire family.  If people know you hate drama (and will nip it in the bud immediately) then it is less likely people will instigate a problem in your presence.

Sauce of Life Tips:

• Make sure everyone has a drink (not necessarily alcohol) but something to keep them busy!
• Keep the food, desserts and jelly beans coming!  People won't start fights if they are eating!
• Know your crowd, maybe it's time to limit the alcohol.
• Don't come empty-handed, if you're a guest, bring a small gift for the host or a dish to pass. 
• Out of kindness, bring an Easter egg, a basket of treats or a chocolate bunny for your elderly relatives.
