A Weekend to Remember

Who doesn't look forward to a fabulous weekend away from our daily stressful and fast paced lives?  These are a few of the things I believe are necessary for a short getaway: A Fabulous Hat that can be worn with every outfit, sunglasses while you enjoy all those hours outdoors and of course bring a fun bottle nail polish to give yourself a manicure during some alone time.

Weekend Getaway! What will you bring?

Getting with the Dots

Get with the Polka Dots!

Yes, we are utterly and thoroughly obsessed with polka dots and after I saw a friend of ours come to a dinner with fabulous polka dot shoes, I felt it was time to do another post on this fabulous print which we can't get enough of!

So here is a combination of a few of our favorite polka prints in a variety of colors.  Polka dots are such a versatile print and can be easily transitioned into spring, which we are all waiting anxiously to arrive.  We also wanted to share that "little black dress" by Shauna Miller from PennyChic which is only $20 at Walmart (online only).  Can't wait to show you my own Shauna Miller!  Pictures to come soon, and of course it will be complimented with polka dots!

Written By: Ooh La La (Danielle Marie)

Welcome to Friday!

Photobucket
Are you attending a cocktail party, dinner at a friend's house or a weekend cookout?  Are you not sure what to bring your host/hostess?  Here are a few High Five for Friday suggestions!

For those of you Southern Ladies and Gentlemen you will die for these mason jar glass with handles!  You can even get them personalized!

If your host/hostess loves to bake and with macarons being the new dessert of choice, this book would be a huge hit!

A gift of chocolate covered strawberries are always appreciated and can be served at the party or saved later for the host to enjoy alone!  These strawberries are from 1-800-baskets, but you can always pre-order them at your local bakery!

If you know they are tea lovers, this Samoa Teapot would be a touching gift!  It can be used over and over again, how resourceful!

For the cheese lover, which here in Wisconsin we find a lot of, the "King of Cheeses"  (Roquefort) would be an amazing treat!

If you want to be safe, a bottle of red or white wine (host's preference) is a fabulous gift!

Hope these gave you a few ideas for the next party you are attending, you host/hostess will be ever so grateful for the thoughtfulness.
