The Beauty of Food at C. 1880 - Milwaukee

My husband and I just celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary and every year we try a new restaurant.  Well, he had heard amazing reviews about c.1880 so we figured this would be the perfect occasion!

Appetizer
FOIE GRAS
fig/pistachio/coriander

 A Toast for the Evening
A beautiful wine of white bubbly!

 Entree
Veal - Beans/Potatoes

 Entree
Short Rib
giant bean/pattypan squash/marjoram

This meal was amazing.  We savored every bit and the prices were extremely reasonable for the high quality of food and preparation that was put into each dish!  Unfortunately, we didn't have any room left for dessert, which of course was tempting from their large array of choices.  It was definitely a perfect, quaint restaurant for an intimate dinner.  The atmosphere was incredibly inviting and I loved the old map of Milwaukee dating back to the year 1880.  It was a excellent combination of perfect service, atmosphere and amazing food!
